Focus to Other Fields, Ex Goalkeepers Barcelona Hang Shoes
The ex-Barcelona goalkeeper, Victor Valdes, finally hanging up shoes from football. El Mundo Deportivo reported, Valdes wants to focus his career in the world of television.
The 35-year-old man is free transfer status in the summer of this year. Valdes has no club after the duration of his work with Middlesbrough not renewed.
A number of European clubs are ready to use his services, ranging from Real Betis, Deportivo La Coruna, Las Palmas, to Sporting Lisbon. However, Valdes rejected the offer and preferred to hang up his shoes.
Valdes plans to develop a career in the world of broadcasting. He and his two friends founded a company that produces television shows, Crazy4fun.
The company, located in Barcelona, Abu Dhabi, to London, will make a television show in which Valdes interviews former teammates, either in Barcelona, the Spanish national team, or Manchester United. This show has also been sold to 12 countries around the world.
Valdes is a graduate of Barcelona’s football academy, La Masia. Had strengthened the junior team, Valdes finally believed to defend the El Barca squad in the 2002-2003 season.
